Mississippi through Tertiary rocks from the North Slope of Alaska were evaluated for their hydrocarbon source rock potential. Cuttings and core samples from thirty-four (34) wells, which provide both regional and stratigraphic coverage, were utilized in this geochemical study. A final report is provided that integrates the geochemical data into the regional geologic framework of the study area. An understanding of the location and quality of potential source rocks in the study area provides a key to future exploration efforts in the North Slope.
