Using modern CT scanners and micro-CT scanners, fractures in conventional cores and plugs can be accurately measured and quantified.
The conventional cores are scanned (UltraScansm) while the core is still in the aluminum core barrels. The rock is digitally removed from
the inner barrels, before the core is pushed out, labelled, and boxed. A circumferential view of the outside of the core surface and an XZ
slab view is generated from the CT volumes . The last tracks are plotting the full core diameter and plug routine core analysis results.
The service includes a fracture analysis panel and a fracture table with fracture statistics
